THE STORY BEHIND "REKINDLE"

Rekindle Ministry was founded by Christa Morris when God began showing Christa the need in women's lives to have a special night where they can set aside everything and simply focus on their relationship with Jesus. Rekindle is a one-night FREE event with powerful worship, inspiring teaching, and much needed fellowship! Local churches provide the venue for the event and work alongside Rekindle Ministry to create an evening that will encourage women to come and REKINDLE their flame for Jesus... even if it is only an ember.
It's a night that women will not want to miss! However, Rekindle Ministry is now more than just one evening. The mission of the ministry is to fuel women to be on fire for Christ, and growth and faith are a journey, not just a one-time event. So, Rekindle Ministry was expanded to include small discipleship groups called Emblaze (MBLZ). MBLZ groups are women meeting together to learn how to be true disciples of Christ who make disciples of Christ. It is a community of women who are actively and intentionally seeking Christ so their flames aren't just rekindled, but emblazed!! Thank you to those who attended the 2024 Rekindle Event! Christa is the founder of Rekindle with a passion to teach women the Word of God. When she is not working on Rekindle and MBLZ, she is homeschooling, spending time with her family, reading, or having fun playing games and sports. Everything she does, she does with fervor and intensity. Above all else, she wants her life to point to her First Love, Jesus Christ. Chris:
Chris is Christa's husband and also the worship leader for Rekindle events. Besides helping Christa with Rekindle, he is also ordained as an elder in the Global Methodist Church. Christa is telling the truth when she says Chris is a man/pastor/follower of Jesus who walks the walk and talks the talk. Silas:
Silas is Christa and Chris's son. His main Rekindle duty (right now) is hearing all of his parent's ideas about Rekindle! Silas loves Jesus, dirt bike riding, reading, video games, and beating his parents in Ping Pong, Tennis, and Pickleball! Rekindle does not just have these three faces. There are many more who make these events possible. Some of those faces are found in the Rekindle Committees, the tech crews, the worship teams, the host pastors, the chef and kitchen crews, MBLZ leaders, and the many more volunteers. |
